Chris Thomas is a senior executive and board member within the not-for-profit sector with extensive experience in governance reform, leadership, media & advocacy, events and management.
Mr Thomas has been chief executive of Transplant Australia since February 2007, and president of the World Transplant Games Federation since July 2015 where he led a new constitution with term limits for executive officers and new policies for member protection & child safety and its acceptance as a charity under UK Law.
Mr Thomas has served on the advisory taskforce which reformed organ donation in Australia, was a member of the Organ & Tissue Donation Advisory Council for six years, chair of the World Transplant Games in Australia in 2009, and has managed six Australian Transplant Games and many programs to promote organ donation to the Australian public.
