Chris Massey has over 30 years of senior leadership experience in tertiary and secondary education, with significant exposure to the health and sport sectors.
Mr Massey is the director of Student Life at the University of Western Australia. He commenced at UWA as principal of Currie Hall, a residential college now known as University Hall, in September 2006 and has been a director since 2010. In 2014, he was offered a staff exchange as director of campus life at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
Prior to his appointment at UWA, Mr Massey spent over 12 years in the education sector encompassing secondary teaching, physical education, and managing an educational self esteem program within Australia and Singapore. He also spent more than 5 years in the health sector, including two years at the Cancer Council of WA and three years as part of the senior executive team at Medicare Australia.
In September 2022, Mr Massey became the executive director of the Association of Independent Schools of WA.
