Chris Faddy has over 25 years of experience in financial services, having been employed in accounting, distribution and marketing functions for some of the largest Australian and global investment institutions. He was involved in establishing a boutique asset management firm focusing on Australia and Asia, sourcing seed and working capital, along with leading the sales and marketing function. Prior to that he spent almost 7 years in Asia, initially as head of distribution for Spectrum, the managed accounts business of BNY Mellon, based in Singapore. Mr Faddy was also head of distribution for Credit Suisse Asset Management Asia and Barclays Capital Fund Solutions, covering institutional and intermediary clients across Asia and Australia. Prior to going to Singapore, he had senior distribution roles with Goldman Sachs JBWere Sydney from 2004-2010 and Skandia Australia from 2000-2004, covering banks and intermediaries. He spent 7 years with Bankers Trust prior to this, in both Australia and London, in a number of accounting and risk management roles. His first role was with Hall Chadwick in Tax and Business Services, managing the financial affairs of high networth individuals. Mr Faddy has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Economics) from the Australian National University and a Grad Dip from Finsia (Australia), as well as being a Fellow of Finsia. He has achieved CPA designation and has met asset management and capital market regulatory requirements in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
