Cheryl Edwardes AM is a former attorney-general for Western Australia and environment minister in the Liberal government of Richard Court until 2001. She retired from politics in 2005.
Mrs Edwardes was executive general manager for external affairs, government relations and approvals at Hancock Prospecting. She has also held the position of both non-executive director and chair of Atlas Iron.
Mrs Edwardes was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2016 for significant service to the people and Parliament of Western Australia; to the law and to the environment; and through executive roles with business, education and community organisations.
