Catherine Walsh has over 25 years of experience in human resources and workplace relations.
She was the partner and head of people & culture at PwC since September 2020, and became the chief people officer (a newly created role) of Qantas in January 2024. Prior to PwC, Ms Walsh had spent over 4 years with Spotless Services and was its group executive of people, performance and culture where she oversaw its human resources, industrial relations, payroll, occupational health and safety, workers compensation, remuneration and staffing functions. She also spent over 15 years at Australia Post and was the general manager of group human resources & safety for the last 5.5 years of her tenure.
Ms Walsh has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
