Cate Begbie

Cate Begbie became the principal of Presbyterian Ladies College (PLC) in July 2019, having previously been deputy head (and acting head in 2010) of PLC's junior school from 2008 to 2012. She left PLC to become head of junior school at Wesley College for 6 years before moving to Brisbane to take up a leadership role at St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School where she was dean of students and academic welfare for years 7-9 in 2017 and deputy principal in 2018. Ms Begbie has extensive leadership experience across education from kindergarten to Year 12.
