Dr Caroline Brokvam has been a director of the American School of Antananarivo (ASA) in Madagascar since July 2016, and was a high school principal and head of city campus at Copenhagen International School prior to that. She will take over as principal of the International School of WA in July 2021.
Dr Brokvam began her international teaching career as an English teacher at the International School of Stavanger in Norway, and went on to hold school leadership positions in the Philippines, Australia and Denmark.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Education from Charles Sturt University, a Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principal’s Training Centre, a first class joint honours BA in English and Philosophy as well as a PhD from the University of Western Australia.
