ASX 200 companies reach gender target
Western Australian companies Chalice Mining and Silver Lake Resources appointed females to their boards this month, ending all-male representation among the ASX 200.
Carl Cockerham has extensive experience in leadership positions within Australia and the UK, and across diverse sectors including financial services, IT, FMCG and government.
Mr Cockerham has been involved in leading performance turnaround and business improvement strategies across sales distribution and customer service functions for companies in the competitive B2B and B2C markets.
Since arriving in Western Australia from the UK in November 2004, Mr Cockerham has held managerial and executive positions at the Home Building Society, Westpac, Suncorp Group, Coles and Landgate. He became the WA state manager of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in August 2021.
