Professor Bruce Robinson AC AM has over 20 years of leadership experience as an academic physician and scientist across research, healthcare and medicine, and tertiary education sectors.
He was a former Dean at the University of Sydney's Sydney Medical School, head of medicine at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital, and head of the Cancer Genetics Laboratory at the Kolling Institute for Medical Research.
Prof Robinson is also chair of National Health and Medical Research Council and Medical Benefits Schedule Review Taskforce, and a director of MaynePharma and QBiotics.
In 2012, Prof Robinson was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia. In 2020, he was one of only five people to be appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia for services to medical research, and to national healthcare, through policy development and reform, and to tertiary education.
