Bruce Havilah is a corporate and commercial lawyer at Havilah Legal in Perth, Western Australia and has also established an office in the Gold Coast. He has more than 20 years of international experience and knowledge in the corporate and commercial sector, having advised public and private companies, not-for-profit, charities, sporting organisations, shareholders and directors. Mr Havilah began his association with the law serving as a police prosecutor in the NSW police force before resigning to focus on a legal career. He gained his law degree from the University of Sydney before being admitted as a Barrister in New South Wales, and a Barrister and Solicitor in Western Australia in 1994. His vision of building his own practice based on genuine service and good relationships came to fruition with the establishment of Bruce Havilah and Associates in 1998. Mr Havilah has also acted as legal advisor to Swimming Australia, assisting in the development of their Swimmers Code of Conduct, drafting Australian Team documentation, as well as legal agreements which secured key sponsorship from Western Australian mining interests.
