A former senior partner of law firm Mallesons Stephen Jacques in Perth, Bruce Dodd, was the state's regional commissioner for ASIC from 2008 to 2014, as well as heading the watchdog's Emerging Mining and Resources team. In 2014 he retired to become an executive director of Corporate Commercial Mediation Services, a commercial dispute resolution practice.
