Recruiters adapt to a changing marketplace
SPECIAL REPORT: A possible skills shortage is among the challenges facing WA recruiters, amid an uptick in mining and hiring across the board.
Brodie McDougall joined PageGroup Australia in Perth in 2003 as a consultant in Michael Page's finance division, specialising in interim finance recruitment. In 2006, he was promoted to manager and relocated within PageGroup to Shanghai to support the establishment and growth of PageGroup within mainland China. Mr McDougall was involved in an exciting period of growth of the China business and was promoted to associate director of finance and professional services. He was also elected as president for the Shanghai Tigers AFL club and actively involved in charity fundraising for Operational Smile. Following 4 successful years with Michael Page in Shanghai, Mr McDougall was promoted to director of Michael Page's finance division in NSW in 2010 where he specialised in recruitment within ASX, multinationals and professional services. In 2013, Mr McDougall relocated back to Perth and heads up the WA business as regional director of PageGroup Western Australia where he manages the Perth office and specialises in executive recruitment.
