Lixa assembles AMR avengers
A Perth-founded company developing a drug to combat antimicrobial resistance has added several high-profile names to its ranks, including philanthropist John Poynton.
Brett Rowe has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Mr Rowe is a director and chief executive of The Bass Group, director of The Bass Family Foundation and Silver Mountain. He is responsible for managing the global financial interests of the Bass Family, as well as the foundation’s ongoing support of education and health in disadvantaged children and youth in regional Western Australia.
Mr Rowe is also a director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation (CERI) which aims to assist the growth of WA’s non-mining industry through a strong innovation base where high-knowledge startup company formation can be accelerated. This is achieved through the co-creation of a WA-based venture capital industry.
Mr Rowe is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Accounting.
