Brett Cornwall is a corporate advisory and tax partner of Moore Stephens, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and the Tax Institute of Australia.
He is also a Chartered Tax Advisor and has been practicing in these areas for nearly 30 years. Mr Cornwall provides tax expertise to clients and has also been involved in various transactional advice including advising on a number of large and medium size mergers and acquisitions, conducted numerous valuations and due diligence, and acts as independent expert in commercial and marital property litigation matters.
He is on the business valuation panel of ANZ Bank. Mr Cornwall has extensive experience in strategic planning to small and medium businesses including tax advising, risk assessment, asset protection, succession and estate planning, employee incentive programs, designing investor ready programs, purchase/sales/expansion of businesses and extracting shareholder value.
Mr Cornwall has assisted the Institute of Chartered Accountants on a number of occasions including his position on the Institute’s panel of tax experts reviewing proposed changes to tax legislation, and is a former board member of the WA Chapter of the Franchise Council.
