Perth childcare centre fined over burns
A Perth childcare centre has been fined $15,000 after three toddlers sustained severe burns to their feet during a fire drill on a hot day last summer.
Bradley Jolly has extensive experience across the private and public sectors.
He was appointed executive director of governance and legislation at the former Department of Local Government in October 2009. As the executive director of sector regulation and support at the Department of Local Government and Communities, he was responsible for all legislative, statutory and regulatory functions. A key focus of the role is assisting local governments to achieve high standards of governance and probity as well as administering the statutory functions of the Local Government Act 1995 and other legislation administered by the department. Mr Jolly was also responsible for the statewide implementation and development of the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care. He became the acting assistant director general for commissioning and sector engagement at the Department of Communities from July 2018 to October 2020.
