Brad Valiukas is a mining engineer with over 25 years of operational, management and technical experience covering underground and open pit operations across multiple commodities around Australia and internationally.
He also has extensive underground experience including narrow vein gold and airleg operations, with multiple mine start-ups and rectifications completed.
Mr Valiukas has been the managing director of Aurumin since February 2020. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer of Focus Minerals, deputy chief mining engineer of Mincor Resources, had worked in both open pit and underground mining environments, and is an expert in narrow vein mining. Mr Valiukas was also a mining engineer consultant with RSG Global and held multiple mine manager and mining engineer positions for companies such as WMC, Homestake Mining, and various mining contractors.
