Brad Royce APM has over three decades of policing experience.
He joined the Western Australia Police Force as a recruit in 1994 and rose through the ranks to the position of assistant commissioner for state crime in 2019 where he played an instrumental role in tackling Western Australia's Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs and chaired the National Serious and Organised Crime Coordination Committee. In September 2022, Mr Royce became assistant commissioner for the Metropolitan region and was responsible for more than 2700 staff. He was then appointed as corrective services commissioner in October 2023.
Mr Royce was awarded the Australian Police Medal in 2015.
