Bill Oliver has 14 years’ experience in the international resources industry working for both major and junior companies.
He has led large scale resource definition projects for Rio Tinto and previously worked in near mine exploration/resource definition roles for Harmony Gold, Bellamel Mining and BC Iron.
Mr Oliver was managing director of Signature Metals and was responsible from taking the Konongo Gold Project into production within two years of acquisition, and growing the company from a market cap of A$6M to a transaction where it was valued at over A$50M. He has wide-ranging exploration experience including expertise in near-mine exploration/resource extension and resource definition, as well as significant experience in the technical and economic evaluation of resources projects.
He holds an honours degree in Geology from the University of Western Australia and a post-graduate diploma in finance and investment from FINSIA.
