Today's board moves wrap includes Avi Sthapak, Stefanie Wilkinson, Caroline Cox, Geof Stapledon, and Bill Hobba.
Brightstar Resources has picked up some prime geological real estate contiguous to its current gold exploration land holdings near Laverton, boosting the company’s holdings in the region to a solid 300 square kilometres. The acquisition comes off the back of a recent $2.3 million placement that has given it enough funding to drill test its significant landholdings in the region.
ASX-listed Brightstar Resources continues to deliver stellar results with significant shallow gold intercepts in addition to unexpected nickel hits at its flagship Cork Tree Well prospect near Laverton in WA. The latest strikes include 12m going 4.25 g/t gold from 131m downhole and unexpected nickel sulphide hits including a 1m interval going 1.6 per cent nickel from 41m and 1.99 per cent nickel from 61m.
Brightstar Resources has locked in an air-core drill rig to test a grab bag of high-quality targets at its Brightstar South gold project located approximately 40 kilometres southeast of Laverton in WA. Although the target areas have shown significant anomalism, giving up over 5,000 ounces of gold historically, the prospects have inexplicably, never been run to ground with modern exploratory drilling.
Brightstar Resources continues to deliver sparkling results with significant shallow gold intercepts at its flagship Cork Tree Well prospect near Laverton in WA. The latest strikes include 26m going 2.97 g/t gold from 111m downhole and 17m at a respectable 3.09 g/t gold from 139m. These intersections are wider than the previous intercepts but still maintain similar metal tenor.
Brightstar Resources has continued its run of solid drill hits at its flagship Cork Tree Well prospect near Laverton where ongoing gold intersections have confirmed the high-grade nature of the system. Notable intersections from the latest round of RC drilling include a 12 metre intersection grading 3.47 grams per tonne gold from 157m downhole and a 9m hit going 1.46 g/t gold from 178m downhole.
Brightstar Resources has picked up a crucial piece of acreage that connects its south and north Cork Tree Well tenure, offering the company an unfettered opportunity to explore the area. The acquisition extends its second prospective exploration trend parallel to historic workings over unbroken ground. Curiously Brightstar picked up the connecting ground within the lucrative Laverton gold belt for just $10,000 cash.
Brightstar Resources has high hopes for a new RC drill program at its Cork Tree Well project at Laverton, WA where previous drilling delivered a 12m intersection grading 3.47 grams per tonne gold. The company is targeting the northern extensions of the main Delta lode whilst also chasing down new Delta 2 targets as it looks to grow its JORC resource.
Brightstar Resources has hit the ground running with its latest drilling program at its Cork Tree Well project, near Laverton in WA’s northern Goldfields, as it bids to expand its JORC-compliant resource. The gold developer reports drilling is averaging more than 200m a day and eight holes have already been completed at the Delta 2 prospect.
WA Gold developer Brightstar Resources has completed its latest drilling programs as it presses on with the company’s ambitions of boosting the resource at its Laverton Goldfields' project and getting its processing plant out of mothballs. RC drilling programs were conducted at Brightstar’s Cork Tree Well and Alpha projects and an air-core program at its Queen of Hearts South prospect, south of the plant.
Brightstar Resources air-core drilling has yielded anomalous gold results at its Rowena, Jubilee and Sailor Prince historical gold mines. The old mines near Laverton in WA form part of the company’s Brightstar South project. The best result was 1m at 4.85 g/t gold at the Sailor Prince prospect with the 500m-long gold lode being aligned with the old workings.
Brightstar Resources has increased its gold inventory to 252,100 ounces at the company’s Cork Tree Well gold project near Laverton in WA as the explorer moves closer to potential production. The upgraded resource of 5.62 million tonnes at 1.4 grams per tonne gold represents an increase of 6 per cent or 15,100 ounces of gold on the previous estimate.
Brightstar Resources has received positive results from the first significant drilling program in eight years at its Alpha West prospect near Laverton in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. Assay highlights include a 5m hit going 9.8 grams per tonne gold from 98m whilst another hole recorded a 2m intercept at an impressive 11.3 g/t gold from 88m.
Brightstar Resources’ recent 12-hole RC drilling program has identified a new mineralised lode at the company’s Cork Tree Well gold project 30km north of Laverton in WA. The drilling was performed at the project’s Delta 2 prospect and returned a series of high-grade hits including 2m going 6.05 grams per tonne gold from 29m, 1m running 5.31 g/t from 102m and 2m grading 2.42 g/t from 94m.
Recent RC drilling by Brightstar Resources at the company’s Cork Tree Well gold project 30km north of Laverton in WA has delivered high-grade extensions along strike from the project’s existing 252,000-ounce gold resource. Among an array of significant strikes a single hole returned standout intercepts of 5m going 9.46 g/t from 103m and 4m running 2.56 g/t from 168m.
WA gold explorer Brightstar Resources is now debt-free after just over $6 million in debt was scrubbed from its balance sheet through two cash-less settlements. A larger burden of $5.4 million owed to private company, Stone Resources was lifted from the explorer’s shoulders in exchange for a net smelter royalty over selected tenements held by the company. A smaller debt of $630,000 owed to another private company, Great Cortex International was also extinguished from Brightstar’s books in exchange for a proportionate slice of shares.
Brightstar Resources’ confidence in the potential of its flagship Cork Tree Well project near Laverton continues to grow with gold assays from an extensional RC drill hole providing the latest boost. Results include 6m at 3.17 grams per tonne gold from 182 metres and the additional strike length opened up by the drill hole has persuaded the company to redouble its efforts next year.
Goldfields explorers Brightstar Resources and Kingwest Resources have agreed to merge in a move to consolidate the gold assets of each company and bring their combined operations a step closer to production. The agreement has been made through a scheme of arrangement under which Brightstar will acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Kingwest.
