Bill Bent is a mining executive with over 20 years of experience in the international resources sector.
Mr Bent was an Anglo American Bursar and started his career in Anglo’s Gold Division in South Africa as a metallurgist. He joined Chalice Gold Mines from nickel producer Mirabela Nickel where he held the positions of vice president - business development and chief development officer responsible for exploration, investor relations, business development, growth and expansion, and technical studies. Prior to joining Mirabela, he was a director of strategy with PwC Advisory and an associate director at Mainsheet Corporate, before which he worked with the Corven Group in their consulting & corporate finance divisions and for Genesis Oil & Gas as a process engineer. In August 2023, Mr Bent became a principal of Deloitte's financial advisory group when the Perth-based M&A specialists team from Mainsheet Capital joined Deloitte's financial advisory group.
He also holds an MBA from Cranfield University in the UK.
