Fraser Range Metals Group non-executive director Dan Smith has been appointed as an executive director at Minerals Corporation, replacing non-executive director Bevan Tarratt who has stepped down. 

Pura Vida Energy has named Jeff Dowling as its new chairman and Ric Malcolm as a non-executive director, with current chairman Bevan Tarratt to resign from the board but remain in an executive role.

Dr Richard Hopkins has resigned as chief executive of PharmAust to pursue a senior corporate position in another company. Dr Roger Aston, current executive chair, will become acting chief executive.

Matt Smith has been appointed to a newly created role of chief commercial officer at Aspermont, a leading media services provider to the global mining and resources industry.

Bevan Tarratt has been appointed an independent non-executive chair of Emergent Resources. He was appointed a non-executive director in 2015 and replaces Edmond Yao who will remain on the board as non-executive director until completion of the company’s acquisition of Prometheus Mining.

Garret Dixon has been appointed non-executive chair of Fenix Resources from January. Mr  Dixon has extensive experience as a senior executive within the resources, transport and contracting sectors in Australia and overseas.
