Beth Cubitt is a partner in Clyde & Co Australia's projects and construction group and is based in Perth. She specialises in construction and engineering law, which sees her work with some of Australia's largest construction, infrastructure and resource clients. Ms Cubitt advised clients on many major construction disputes, international commercial arbitrations and cross-border disputes throughout Australia and Asia. Her expertise also includes providing advice on managing claims for various substantial construction, energy, resources and mining projects in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. She also advises clients on cross-border transactions, organising project structures, developing procurement systems and drafting contract documents. Ms Cubitt is a qualified lawyer in South Africa where she acted for a variety of commercial clients in respect of dispute resolution and negotiating and drafting contracts before moving to Australia in 2000. She is regularly called upon to present at legal and sector-focused conferences and seminars. Ms Cubitt is a graded arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London), the Australian Institute of Commercial Arbitration and the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia. She has been mentioned in the Legal 500 for 2013 Construction in Australia.
