Ben Small was a Senator for Western Australia, replacing Mathias Cormann in the federal parliament in November 2020. Mr Small has also served as president of the Liberal Party's Forrest division. In April 2022, Mr Small resigned from the Senate after discovering he was a dual citizen of both Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Small was a marine manager of production logistics at Woodside Petroleum, and an officer at Farstad Shipping. He owns Small's Bar in Bunbury, with Michael Prosser a business partner.
Mr Small studied an MBA at University of Canberra and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Tasmania.
