No shortcut in academic leadership
Corporate governance skills and knowledge are playing a role in school leaders’ future leadership training.
Ben Dahlstrom was the media and community relations advisor to Ken Wyatt, Australia’s first Indigenous Member of the House of Representatives, and press secretary to Matt Taylor who ran for the Federal seat of Fremantle. Mr Dahlstrom became director of marketing and community relations at All Saints’ College in 2016, following three years in a similar position at Diabetes WA. He is also the chief executive of boutique consultancy Red Team WA which specialises in business strategy and risk mitigation for small businesses and not-for-profit organisations.
