Belinda Moharich

Belinda Moharich practices in the areas of planning and environment law. She provides advice to clients regarding their subdivision and building projects, from pre-acquisition due diligence, through the subdivision and development approval process, and to representing clients at the State Administrative Tribunal.

Ms Moharich also has extensive experience working for the State government, as a lawyer in-house for the Ministry for Planning (now Department of Planning) where she was instructing officer on a number of pieces of State planning legislation. She was appointed as the Principal Registrar and a senior member of the Town Planning Appeal Tribunal in 2003, and as a member of the State Administrative Tribunal in January 2005, before returning to private practice in July 2005.

In September 2022 Ms Moharich was appointed to the board of the inaugural Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Council, Western Australia's peak strategic body on Aboriginal cultural heritage matters.

Ms Moharich holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Planning) from the University of Queensland, and is a qualified town planner. She is also an accredited mediator with LEADR, a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Planning Institute of Australia.
