Belinda Hutchinson

Belinda Hutchinson AC AM is Chancellor of the University of Sydney, chair of Thales Australia and Future Generation Global Investment Company, director of AGL Energy and Australian Philanthropic Services, and a member of the St Vincent’s Health Australia NSW Advisory Council. She was chair of QBE Insurance Group and director of Telstra Corporation, Coles Myer, Crane Group, Energy Australia, TAB, Snowy Hydro Trading and Sydney Water. In 2007, Ms Hutchinson was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for services to business through a range of executive roles in the finance sector, and to the development of financial planning and fundraising initiatives for cultural, medical and social welfare organisations. In 2020, she was promoted to Companion of the Order of Australia for eminent services to business, to tertiary education and scientific research, and through philanthropic endeavours to address social disadvantage.
