Barbara Chapman CNZM has trans-Tasman executive experience, having served as chief executive and managing director of ASB Bank for seven years and held a number of senior executive roles responsible for marketing, communications, human resources, life insurance and retail banking in New Zealand and Australia.
Ms Chapman was named New Zealand Herald's 2017 Business Leader of the Year.
In 2019, she was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business.
Ms Chapman is chair of Genesis Energy and the 2021 APEC CEO Summit Committee, deputy chair of The New Zealand Initiative, director of IAG New Zealand and New Zealand Media & Entertainment, and a member of the Prime Minister's Business Advisory Council.
