Athanasios (Athan) Lekkas has extensive investment banking expertise across a wide range of activities including cross-border transactions, project funding and the structuring of acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate advisory transactions. He also has significant success in the areas of general management, business development and business restructuring.
Mr Lekkas was a key participant in the identification and funding of the acquisition of the Agbaja Iron Ore project in Nigeria. He was chief executive and executive director of Xped, and founder of Dalext and Dalext Products. Mr Lekkas established both companies to capture unique opportunities in the areas of product design and development, offshore manufacturing, business development & strategy and representation services for wholesalers and other companies with plans for rapid expansion.
