Athalie Williams

Athalie Williams joined BHP Billiton in 2007 and was appointed to the group management committee as president of human resources in January 2015. Ms Williams’ title changed to chief people officer in July 2015 and she remained in the role until July 2022. She had previously held senior human resources positions including as vice president of human resources marketing, vice president of human resources for the Uranium business and group HR manager, executive resourcing & development.

Prior to BHP Billiton, Ms Williams was an organisation strategy and workforce transformation advisor with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and National Australia Bank.
