Star raises $5m ahead of listing
Gold explorer Star Minerals is on track to list on the ASX next month, having received a $2.5 million investment from Magnolia Capital.

Ashley Jones has experience in identifying and quantifying mineral resources to assess and maximise the economic potential on the Botswana tenements. He has a range of cross discipline experience from managing an Australian uranium resource project to pre-feasibility level.
Mr Jones has been managing exploration and projects in Africa since 2008. He was based in Africa for over 11 years exploring a range of commodities for ASX, AIM and TSX listed public companies.
Mr Jones holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Geology from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand; a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan University, Australia; and is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
