Youth Focus announces new CEO
Charity chief executive Arthur Papakotsias has been appointed the new chief executive of Youth Focus, replacing the outgoing Fiona Kalaf.
Arthur Papakotsias originally trained as a psychiatric nurse.
He was chief executive of Youth Focus from January 2019 to January 2023. Prior to that, Mr Papakotsias spent over 27 years with Neami National, which provides community-based mental health services helping people to improve wellbeing and live independently. Since joining Neami National in 1992, he had steered the organisation through significant growth, increasing the business from two staff (himself and a part-time administration personnel) to a workforce of more than 1000 who support 9000 people across five states.
