Ari Mervis

Ari Mervis has experience in a range of industries in branded goods, consumer staples, agriculture, food and beverages.

He was executive chair of Accolade Wines, managing director and chief executive of Murray Goulburn, and spent 27 years at global brewer SABMiller where his career culminated as chief executive of Carlton & United Breweries, managing director for Asia Pacific, and a member of its global leadership team. Mr Mervis also spent 8 years as chair of China Resources Snow Breweries, a joint venture between China Resources Enterprises and SABMiller. He was also chair of SAB India and SAB Vietnam where he motivated and completed the acquisition of Foster's by SABMiller.
