Anthony Wamsteker

Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director / Praemium

Anthony Wamsteker has over 30 years of experience in financial services, including nine years as the founding chief executive of ME Bank and 12 years in the funds management division of National Mutual/AXA.

Mr Wamsteker also has extensive board experience including as chair of Powerwrap from January 2018 to October 2020. He joined the board of Praemium in November 2020 following Praemium's acquisition of Powerwrap. Mr Wamsteker is also chair of Islamic Bank Australia, the first totally Shari'ah-compliant bank which will begin trading in Australia in 2023.
