Anthony Shields is the managing director of Asymmetric Investment Management. Prior to Asymmetric, he worked for Macquarie Bank as an equity analyst and later in institutional equity sales and trading, and then Deutsche Bank in equity and derivatives sales and trading.
Mr Shields has established and managed an investment portfolio for the Roberts family office, understood to represent the collective interests of Denby, Andrew and Tim Roberts, the children of Multiplex constrcution business founder John Roberts. In that role, he was responsible for asset allocation and portfolio management, risk management, investment and macro-economic analysis, fund manager due diligence and portfolio construction from 2008-2012.
