Anthony Moorhouse is passionate about helping profit-for-purpose ventures scale their impact - for people, profit and planet. He is the managing director of Biz-Assist Insurance, a crisis response insurance agency helping organisations recover quickly from an incident that affects people, environment, operations, reputation and livelihoods.
Mr Moorhouse is also the co-founder of EarthTech Ventures whose mission is to mobilise the financial and human capital needed to commercialise profit-for-purpose ventures globally.
Mr Moorhouse had spent a decade in the Australian Army as a Special Forces Counter Terrorism Commander before starting Dynamiq in 2005. Dynamiq is a 24/7 crisis management and response firm. For over 10 years, he led Dynamiq to become an international firm operating in 155 countries. He led its crisis response team and provided crisis leadership support to clients who were facing natural and man-made crisis events such as natural disasters, terrorist attacks, kidnapping and medical emergencies. Mr Moorhouse sold Dynamiq to Insurance Australia Group in 2015.
He holds a Masters degree in International Relations and Affairs from Deakin University.
