Anthony Chisholm is an Australian politician, a member of the Labor Party, and a Senator for Queensland since 2016.
Mr Chisholm had previously served as the Labor Party's state secretary from 2008 to 2014. He directed the party's successful campaign at the 2015 state election. Following the Labor Party's victory at the 2022 federal election, Mr Chisholm became the Assistant Minister for Manufacturing, Education and Regional Development under the Albanese government. In May 2023, he took on additional responsibilities as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.
Immediately prior to his election to parliament, Mr Chisholm had worked at Santos where he provided advice on maintaining mainstream political support amid an ongoing campaign against the coal seam gas industry by environmental and landholder groups.
Mr Chisholm had also served on a number of committees. In February 2020, he was chair of the Select Committee on Administration of Sports Grants. He was deputy chair on the "Inquiry into the destruction of 46,000 year old caves at the Juukan Gorge in the Pilbara region of Western Australia".
