Originally from Perth, Anneke Brown spent her career in hospitality travelling the world. During her university years, Ms Brown worked in various hospitality roles in Perth, starting as a waitress at the Subiaco Hotel. The turning point came during an overseas move with luxury group Amanresorts International which catapulted her into the world of global hotel projects.
With international experience under her belt, Ms Brown returned to Australia and to a boutique hotel in Margaret River before turning her sights to managing Australian luxury icon Longitude 131 at Uluru. The lure of the refurbishment of the Old Treasury Building brought Ms Brown home to Perth. In October 2015, as general manager of COMO The Treasury, she was proud to unveil a 48- room boutique hotel steeped in heritage and luxury.
