Andrew Steers is a chartered accountant with over 15 years of senior finance and administration experience with a number of successful ASX, TSE, AIM and JSE-listed mining and exploration companies developing and operating projects in Africa and Australia.
Prior to becoming the chief financial officer of East Rockingham Waste to Energy in January 2020, Mr Steers was the chief financial officer and company secretary of Vector Resources, Condor Energy Services, Equatorial Resources, and IMX Resources. He was also the group finance manager of TSE and AIM-listed Moto Goldmines which was subsequently acquired in 2009 by Randgold Resources and whose principal asset, the Kibali Gold Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is Africa’s largest producing gold mine.
