Andrew Sisson

Andrew Sisson AO has over 40 years of investment management experience.
In 1988, Mr Sisson founded Balanced Equity Management to manage portfolios of Australian shares.
He is a director of Opera Australia, a trustee of the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust, and a member of the Council of the University of Melbourne and the Grattan Institute Investment Committee.
Mr Sisson was previously a trustee of the National Gallery of Victoria, director of Save the Children Australia, and a member of the Takeovers Panel.
In 2018, he was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the finance and investment sector, as an advisor to financial regulatory bodies, and through philanthropic support for cultural and charitable groups.
