Andrew McConville is an agribusiness & corporate affairs professional with over 25 years of experience across many sectors, industries & countries. He has extensive international experience in advocacy, policy and issues management.
With a comprehensive background in the agricultural sector, he has also worked in senior corporate affairs and management roles in the banking and food sectors as well as being a former policy advisor to the Victorian Government.
Mr McConville worked in Switzerland as global head of external affairs and communications for Syngenta, one of the world’s largest agricultural technology companies with employees across 90 countries. He left to become chief executive of the Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association for 3 years before being appointed chief executive of the Murray Darling Basin Authority in June 2022.
