Andrew Hinkly

Andrew Hinkly spent over 25 years in the automotive and mining industries.

Mr Hinkly has been the founding managing partner of AP Ventures since July 2018. Prior to that, he had held several senior leadership positions at Anglo American, where he worked for a decade and was a member of its platinum executive committee. He also held senior roles during his 8-year tenure at Ford Motor Company, as a member of the North American executive committee, and led the production procurement operations of Ford Americas where he was responsible for $45 billion of annual purchases from over 40,000 suppliers.

Mr Hinkly has an MBA from the University of Manchester, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Loughborough.
