Andrew Haythorpe is a geologist by profession and has been associated with the mining and exploration sector for over 20 years.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of gold exploration and project advancement, having worked as a geologist in gold drilling campaigns in Queensland and Victoria, and later advanced Crescent Gold through
exploration into production as managing director in Western Australia.
Mr Haythorpe gained experience in evaluating the technical and financial aspects of mining projects while working as a mining analyst for Suncorp, County Natwest and Hartley Poynton, and then as a fund manager with Bankers Trust.
He has also been involved in a number of junior company turnarounds with ASX- and TSX-listed companies.
