Andre Wessels has over 28 years of experience across the mining (iron ore, coal, aggregates, manganese, copper, gold and lithium brine), metals, engineering, technology and services industries.
He held leadership roles, including executive and non-executive director roles, in public and private companies.
Mr Wessels was the vice president of Rincon and was in-charge of managing Rincon Mining, delivery of DFS, FEED, tender preparation and all engineering, as well as administrative office and operation of the Rincon Salar Lithium Carbonate demonstration plant in Salta Province, Argentina. He was also the chief executive of Era Resources' coppergold project in PNG, and non-executive director of Meridian Mining SE with a manganese mining operation in Brazil.
