Amy Kean has over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
She co-owns and operates renewable energy advisory firm Stride Renewables which assists clients in navigating the regulatory, commercial and technical challenges to unlock opportunities in renewable energy. She also serves on the boards of LAVO Hydrogen Storage Technology and Blind Creek Solar Farm.
Prior to establishing Stride Renewables, Ms Kean was involved in numerous initiatives advocating for the use and investment into renewable energy. This included working for the NSW Government Department of Planning, Industry and Environment as the renewable energy advocate, and as director of energy infrastructure for its emerging technologies and energy programs.
Ms Kean was involved in developing NSW's renewable energy zones and the State's emerging energy programs. In the field of renewable energy, she has received the NSW Green Globe award for Public Sector Leadership, the Energy Minister's Leadership Award, and recognised for services to the Duke of Edinburgh Award from HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
