Amanda Higgs is a creative producer at Matchbox Pictures. As well as two series of The Time of Our Lives for the ABC, Ms Higgs co-created and produced the first three series of the Network Ten television drama The Secret Life of Us. The series won three Logies for Most Outstanding Drama and was nominated for a number of Australian Film Institute (AFI) and AWGIE Awards. It was the most watched program in the 16-39 demographic for three years running from 2001. Ms Higgs worked at ABC TV Drama as an executive producer and was acting head of drama in late 2009. She script edited The Slap and was consultant EP on SLiDE for Fox8. Ms Higgs has also been on the board of AACTA and the National Screenwriters Conference. She is producing the mini-series Barracuda and Seven Types of Ambiguity for the ABC.
