Amanda Forrester

Amanda Forrester studied at The University of Western Australia where she completed her Law degree in 1994 and was admitted into practice in 1996 after completing her articles of clerkship at Jackson McDonald. She has over 25 years of legal experience, serving mostly as a prosecutor.
In July 2022, Ms Forrester became a Judge of the Supreme Court. Prior to that, she was the first female director of public prosecution for Western Australia where she worked 5 years, a consultant state prosecutor and senior state prosecutor at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for 10 years before moving interstate to be a Crown Prosecutor at the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria for four years.
