Amanda Burrows SC is a highly experienced legal practitioner who was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor in Western Australia in 1994 and appointed senior counsel in 2017.
She has been employed at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in various capacities since 2000.
Ms Burrows SC has prosecuted complex homicide matters over several years and many trials in the Supreme, District, Children's and Magistrates Courts including homicides, sexual assault, armed robberies, drug offences and serious assaults.
In 2011, Ms Burrows SC was named Woman Lawyer of the Year for her leadership role in the Kimberley Work Group which saw State Prosecutors involved in making contributions to the promotion of justice for the Kimberley region's most vulnerable, underprivileged women and girls.
