Alf Macolino has been a lawyer since 1978. He has wide experience in advising in relation to retirement village and aged care developments and administration, community housing, disability housing property development, commercial and business transactions, commercial leasing succession planning and deceased estates. He is a long-standing member of the retirement living committees of the UDIA and ACSA, and a former member of the Retirement Living Committee of the Property Council of Australia. Mr Macolino was the founder and chair of the UDIA retirement living committee for over 6 years and has presented numerous papers at state and national conferences on retirement living, affordable housing and property matters. His expertise in these areas was recognised when he was listed in ‘Best Lawyers in Australia’ lists since 2012 for Retirement Villages and Seniors Living Law, and also since 2013 for Real Estate and Property Law. He was awarded Retirement Villages and Seniors Living Lawyer of the year in 2015. In 2017, Mr Macolino was listed in the Doyle’s Guide to Australian lawyers for Property Law and as the Market Leader in South Australia in Health and Aged Care.
