Alexis Barton

Alexis Barton was a councillor at the City of Perth from October 2017 until the council's suspension in 2018. She is running for a council position again at the City of Perth's October election in 2020. Prior to becoming a councillor, she was an insurance lawyer working predominately in the workers’ compensation jurisdiction. After working as a lawyer for 5 years, her interest in local government and desire to be actively engaged in the community led her to run for council with a primary goal of helping to activate the City of Perth and making it a more liveable place for everyone.
