Alanna Clohesy is the Labor Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Council for the East Metropolitan Region.
Ms Clohesy was elected president of the WA Labor Branch in 2010 and held the role until 2014. She became Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier and the Minister for Health and Mental Health in the McGowan Labor Government in 2017.
Prior to being elected to the Legislative Council, Ms Clohesy had an extensive career in social policy, service delivery and advocacy, culminating in her appointment as deputy director of People with Disability Australia.
